Mudjimba, Friday 1 Oct

 I know that I've been saying this for a long time, but it still holds...

Sorry I haven't been keeping you up-to- date but there's been nothing much to report. 

Until this morning we were still at Coolum Beach.  Settled in to a routine.  Rise early (for us). After breakfast, walk the short distance to the surf club.  (It still amazes me that I'm now a member of a surf club) and have coffee out on the upstairs deck (has to be one of the best decks in the country). And the coffee is very good and very inexpensive for members. And we've seen whales every morning for at least the last four days. And so on, depending on the weather (the Coolum beach is not so attractive when the wind gets up).

But now we're at Mudjimba, about 10 min down the road.  It's because of a mix-up in our Coolum booking, but we'll be able to return there on Monday.  And tomorrow we're going to do some serious planning to see whether we can actually come home one day.  But in the meantime it's pretty pleasant here.
